Debra M. Jones-Hall
Debra Marie Jones-Hall, 60, of Jonesboro, formerly of Brinkley, died Monday evening, April 3 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro.
Debra was born June 5, 1956 in Chicago, Illinois to Elex Jones and Donnella Harris Jones.
Debra was raised in Chicago and attended the Chicago Public School System. She was a 1974 graduate of Harper High School in Chicago.
Debra moved to Arkansas in the 1990’s. She and her family moved to Jonesboro in 2000.
Debra was a former employee of Days Inn Hotel in Wheatley, Arkansas, where she worked as a Housekeeper.
She was a member of New St. John Baptist Church in Jonesboro for several years.
Her parents, two brothers: Freddie Jones and Donald Jones; and a sister Ivern Perkins all preceded Debra in death.
Survivors are: her husband, Elijah Hall of Jonesboro, AR; three daughters: LaRena Jones and Mary Ann Bellinger both of Jonesboro, AR; and Cynthia (Benny) Carter of Blythville, AR; a brother Catonas Jones of Chicago, Ill; two sisters: Fannie Sue Coleman and Bonita Jones both of Jonesboro, AR; twelve grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
