Willie Joe Piggee Sr., 76 of Clarendon, died Saturday, November 19 at Hospice Home Care Center in Little Rock.

Willie was born September 15, 1940 in Blackton, Arkansas to Ausedo Piggee Sr. and Ruthie Mae Johnson.

Willie was an employee of Riceland Foods in Stuttgart for more than 30 years before he retired in 2007. He was a former employee of Griffin Farms in Blackton for more than 20 years.

His parents, a son Alex Harris, a daughter Lora Piggee; three brothers: Lonnie Wade, Bennie Wade and Ausedo Piggee Jr.; two sisters: Gladys Nelson and Gloria Dean Wade all preceded Willie Joe in death.

Survivors are: His wife of 51 years Betty J. Harris Piggee of Clarendon, AR; five sons: James Piggee and William Piggee both of Clarendon, AR; Timothy (Katherine) Harris of Marvell, AR; Rickey Piggee of Dallas, TX; and Willie Piggee Jr. of Little Rock, AR; two daughters: Betty (Tom) Lee of Marvell, AR; and Gladys Piggee of Clarendon, AR; two brothers: Freddie Lee Wade and Earl Wade all of Milwaukee, WI; six sisters: Ardella Willis of Helena, AR; Florastene Wade, Rosie Marie Wade-Webb, Betty Wade and Lillie Ann Wade all of Milwaukee, WI; and Rosalind Cherry (Donald) Roberson of East Chicago, IN; ninteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
